Maybe a bit dramatic but game nights have never been the same without Craig..
No not dramatic at all, elements such as the announcer or DJ can make or break a game night. Getting these positions wrong can have a massive effect on the customer experience. Little things like playing music way to loud or over away fans signing does have a big impact on the atmosphere at a game.
Its not an easy job and you really do need to know your stuff and understand the game and the atmosphere (constantly shouting "Flyers are on the powerplay" to one of the most knowledgeably crowds in the UK is just wrong IMO). Maybe I'm wrong but growing up listening to Malcolm Sherris made me appreciate a good simple announcer rather than the cheer leading guff we get served today. That might work at other clubs but its just no us Fifers!
dont know if its just me but simple things like announcing the starting line before puck drop gets me fired up!!
