750 mile round trip to see the Giants game. I felt like throwing myself of a bridge after that shambles of a game, I can't imagine what you must have felt like facing a huge journey home?
Once a Flyer always a Flyer so your stuck with us, in your position I would maybe stick to webcasts for the time being! Put a gritty Flyers team on the ice that play with a bit of heart and there ain't a better rink in the land to watch hockey though.
I reckon we could pick a couple of bodies out of the crowd at random and make a better fist of PR than we do at the moment.

Six seasons completed in the EIHL and we have done nothing really but tread water down the lower reaches of the league.
I think that we are capable of much much more but we have underestimated the needs of the league in many ways.
Our player selection has never been quite right, our coaching and game play leave a lots to be desired, our players appear to be allowed free reign when they are off ice and our general PR and presence on social media has been just amateurish at best.
Yeah amateurish just about sums up our Elite League venture so far. Changes are needed without a doubt and quickly to re-engage with the fans so frustrated with their team. We need a good season with a team that leaves it on the ice night after night, a tough fast skating team that sticks up for itself, a few impact players that lift the crowd and a total revamp of our PR and media output.
Some signing news would be a good start but I fear that TD is having problems calling across the pond using the tricky international dialling codes!
Stirlingflyer should be put in charge of our media stuff!

I can confirm that Kuznik will not be joining us next season, I had a word with him when I saw him buying compost, seed potatoes and a dibber in B&Q up at the retail park last week.
He did tell me however that Flyers have made a number of signings for next year, he wouldn't go into any detail but he did say that they were all mediocre to average lightweights. We'll find out their names soon enough.
Nah it was never confirmed. It was all really weird how everything was kept a secret (totally understand the right to privacy) but he was out for weeks and then all of a sudden was allowed home, with no updates or anything given to the fans.
I think it was a groin injury. From what i have heard anyway
Is there any truth in the rumour it was alcohol poisoning ?

Given our record with injuries surely it wouldn't be a wise decision to bring back someone recovering from a season ending injury with probably no match fitness. I'd pass for the good of the team, if Dingle is replaceable, so says TD, then so is Stockton.

I think the owners have done all right for us over the years, how easy would it have been for Flyers to fold a decade ago. They kept us going got into the elite league and have funded an ever growing amount of imports each year.
Everybody says that the imports in Fife are on good coin, problem is most of them were no better than average or keech, couple that with dreadful uninspiring coaching and a good old unchallenged drinking culture and there you have it. The biggest fault the owners are culpable for over the years is their loyalty to our coach who in my opinion is the primary reason for our dismal showings in the elite league.
