We have resigned russ Moyer and signed former Coventry blaze 6"2 forward Matt marquadt cant say how I know but just give it a week or two 👍
hope your right Marquadt looked a good player he will do much better in Scottish conference a power forward Russ Moyer I was hoping he would. return if we get an Enforcer on the team you will see more from Russ
The Club needs to come out and tell us why we let Ryan Dingle go The close out meetings at end of last season surely Ryan Dingle was asked if he was interested in coming back for a third season Or was Todd unable to offer anything on the basis that the ownership said no 7th season in EIHL or doubtful. The Club knew it was happening as they announced Dingle was leaving then Coventry announced they had signed him. Could be Dingle just wanted to know where he and his family were going to be based and took the job so he could enjoy the summer knowing he had secured a job, in a different place in an easier conference with Brits and Enforcers behind him. Danny's interview easy to sell Coventry to Dingle, Fife not taking part next season Dings come play for me, no brainer for Dingle. Right now we only have FFP article and a tweet from Alan Crow saying Dutes is the coach but no conformation from the club on any of their social media platforms which is very strange, latest buzz word is Fake News. No news on Season tickets either all a bit strange but par for the course for Fife Flyers Last seasons injuries was a disaster for the club paying for extra imports getting no return you can see why the club is trying to get the numbers reduced. But we are either in or out and the Ownership has said we are in so why are we giving our best player away to a rival?
We can't keep Dings forever I am sure the club are just looking to freshen things up But missing a handful of games and still finishing second top points scorer will be hard to replace Maybe it's Dings choice to try something new a team with Brits that can contribute and 4 line hockey With the new format of 3x4 Coventry could do very well The guy is a class act and will be sorely missed The club sure know how to get fans onside Diffrent if Pr saying Dings has gone but we have signed this guy as a replacement
Well that's two bits of news Were in the EIHL and we have a coach The Owners will be well aware of the fans comments and what type of team is required The other thing I think will have been discussed in great detail is the fixtures We had a lot of Sunday night games last season which hurt the Gate takings We are a Saturday night club and I hope most of our games are Saturdays The other thing that brings fans to Scotland is the 3 games in 3 nights southern teams coming up for the weekend with bus loads of Fans cheaper for them and adds to atmosphere and gate takings Interesting times ahead, we know that we have Chad Smith, Wando and Scoony in the bag so far
Not many of last years Blaze team were signed by Danny Stewart, Danny is his own man he will want to sign the team that suits his vision Blaze owner said it was worst season in clubs history think the guy James Pease should let Danny get on with it
Bring more people to the game and paying for a very good team in this league isnt an issue. Add in some very good sponsors and its not really that hard, especially in a hockey town like Kirkcaldy where folk are desperate for a good team to cheer for.
As T Kellman says who had success at Giants and now Devils Open early, stay late, go to every networking event you can, hire more staff and take the chance on them bringing in more than they cost. We don't sell out because we have a new arena or a great team. We have a great team because we sell out and my MVPs are on the phone right now selling tickets and chasing sponsorship and out at meetings. Were still waiting to hear what's happening Coach, Players, Team, Fixtures, Season Tickets, they should bring back the 10 game flexi pass also that was popular with the fans
